Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Bush Telegraph, in plain words.

The agreement

Bush Telegraph is operated by Out West AI Pty Ltd (ABN 84 695 421 615), referred to here as "we" and "us". These terms are the agreement between you and Out West AI Pty Ltd for your use of Bush Telegraph. Using the service means you accept them. If you are signing up for a business, you are confirming you may accept them on its behalf.

Your account

Keep your password and API credentials to yourself; anything done with them is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think they have been exposed. You must be able to enter a contract to hold an account.

Your content

Your contacts, campaigns, templates and survey responses remain yours. We claim no ownership of them. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your content, send the mail you ask us to send, and show you what happened. You are responsible for having the right to send to the people you upload; see the Anti-Spam Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Plans and billing

Campfire is free and is not a trial — it does not expire and does not ask for a card. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to Campfire rather than closing. Plan limits stop you at the limit rather than billing you past it. Prices can change, but not for a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change takes effect.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to send malware, to impersonate someone, to attack the service or anyone on it, or to send mail without permission. We may suspend an account that is causing harm — to recipients, to the platform's delivery reputation, or to other customers — and will tell you why.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and to send your mail promptly, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we cannot guarantee that a receiving mail server will accept a given message. Delivery depends on parties outside our control. We take backups; you should still keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose, and every plan can export contacts.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like, and export your contacts first. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and except where the breach makes it unreasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right.

Liability

Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond those, the service is provided as it stands, and our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will give you notice, and continuing to use the service after it takes effect means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
